ESTHER Homes exists to come alongside pregnant women experiencing crisis or homelessness by providing housing and access to resources within a community of support. We believe that caring, dependable relationships—having people in your corner—paves the way for family stability. Young women who become pregnant have an increased risk of homelessness; once homeless, they are less likely to receive adequate prenatal care (ZERO TO THREE, 2019), increasing the likelihood of low birth weights and infant mortality (Minnesota Department of Health, 2019).
