ESTHER Homes receives referrals from pregnancy resource centers, evidence-based home visiting programs, school districts and alternative learning programs, programs providing services to youth in the foster system, hospitals, drop-in centers, and faith communities. We accept self-referrals.
Since 2015, we have established relationships with volunteers and organizations that provide food and basic needs, job training, housing assistance, tenant education, mental health and trauma counseling, financial literacy and budgeting, home visiting services and parenting education, nutrition and cooking skills, pathways to vehicle ownership and affordable car repairs, and more to ensure each woman has support in reaching her goals.
New LIfe Family Services
New Life Family Services offers First Care pregnancy resource centers and comprehensive adoption services in the Twin Cities. We receive housing referrals from NLFS and connect families to NLFS programs for tangible, emotional, and spiritual support during pregnancy.
National Maternity Housing coalition
National Maternity Housing Coalitions exists to inspire excellence among maternity housing providers, strengthen programs nationally, and better communicate the role housing plays in supporting pregnant women and mothers.
Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless
ESTHER Homes is a member of the MN Coalition for the Homeless. MCH works with those experiencing housing instability in partnership with over 120 members across the state to advocate for policies, community support, and local resources that end homelessness in Minnesota.
Minnesota Council of Nonprofits
ESTHER Homes is a member of the MN Council of Nonprofits. Nonprofits provide opportunities for individuals and communities to combine their energy, talents and values for community improvement and enrichment. We receive technical assistance and access to resources that support the nonprofit sector across the state.
